Hurricane Preparedness

As summer approaches it is time to consider that Hurricane Season is upon us here in Orange County.  The Hurricane Season for the Atlantic Ocean is June 1st through November 30th.

Although infrequent, hurricanes do impact the Hudson Valley causing substantial wind damage and flooding.  County Executive Edward A. Diana recommends that you take a few minutes and discuss with your family the potential impact of a hurricane and what you can do to prepare.
